Translational Working Groups
The Translational Working Groups (TWGs) are a mechanism to foster interprogrammatic and translational research to promote new discoveries. TWGs organize MCC members from various research programs into groups designed to address site-specific cancers, foster collaborations, and provide the necessary scientific and clinical expertise to improve outcomes for the specific disease sites.
Gastrointestinal
Drives advances in understanding the biology and epidemiology of GI cancers, leading to clinically meaningful improvement in patients with these cancers, both in Minnesota and beyond.
Gynecologic Cancers
One of the largest gynecologic cancer services in the Midwest, providing comprehensive care and access to the latest in research, as well as new approaches to treating gynecologic cancers.
Hematologic Malignancy
Connecting basic, translational and clinical researchers to enhance innovation, creativity and productivity. Members are investigators in leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other cancers of the blood and bone marrow.
