Lead Compounds in Clinical Chemoprevention Conference

-
Cancer & Cardiovascular Research Building
LCCCC Logo
The overall goal of this meeting is to bring together researchers in the process of moving pharmaceuticals into human cancer prevention trials at the University of Minnesota. The event is organized as a combination of presentations of pipeline compounds and biochemical pathways we are currently targeting in cancer prevention and treatment. A focus on barriers to rapid translation and regulatory pathways for clinical adoption will be included. Infrastructure available on campus to facilitate translation will be presented. Finally, after a breakout session, attendees will construct an algorithm to assist attendees with a strategy to move compounds more rapidly to clinic.

The target participants for this meeting are clinicians, researchers, and scientists striving towards adding innovative compounds to the human cancer prevention armamentarium. Those already developing experimental therapeutic strategies are strongly encouraged to attend.

Registration has closed, but walk on registrations are available day-of the event. Please email mccevents@umn.edu if you plan to participate virtually or show up in person if you plan to attend in person.

This is an internal event for University of Minnesota staff, faculty, and students.
