The 2026 Neuro-Oncology Innovation Challenge will be held April 27-28, 2026 at the McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis, bringing together clinicians, scientists, trainees, and industry leaders for a dynamic two-day exchange focused on the most pressing challenges in brain cancer research and care. Designed to go beyond the traditional conference model, the Innovation Challenge emphasizes fresh thinking, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and practical solutions, featuring insights from leading basic, translational, and clinical experts and fostering partnerships aimed at improving outcomes for people affected by brain cancer.

Who should attend?

The event is developed for clinicians, basic & applied scientists, trainees, and industry representatives to engage in-depth discussion, collaboration, and problem-solving in the field of neuro-oncology.

Where is the event located?

The 2026 Neuro-Oncology Symposium will be located at the McNamara Alumni Center at 200 Oak Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455. The main session will be held in the Johnson Great Room, exhibitors will be located in the Thomas H. Swain Room, and refreshments and meals will be served in the Commons. Registration will be located just outside of the Johnson Room.

Where should I park?

The University Ave Parking Ramp is connected by tunnel to the Alumni Center. The ramp entrance is located at 1926 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455. Parking is $3.00 per hour with a daily maximum of $13.00. Once inside the parking ramp, take the East elevator to tunnel B or street level. The Alumni Center is the copper building adjacent to the ramp. For additional parking options and directions, please visit the Alumni Center’s website
