Lissa joined the Masonic Cancer Center on the Community Outreach and Engagement Team in 2017 and is currently the Event and Administrative Manager. Her role is to oversee the event team, logistics, and protocols at MCC. This includes large scale public engagement events, local and national conferences and meetings. She is passionate about reducing the burden of cancer through events.

Lissa received her Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Tourism at Winona State University and became a Certified Meeting Professional in 2021. In addition to role at MCC, Lissa leads the Event Circle, a group of event professionals across the University to help share resources, foster networking, and increase event supplier diversity. In her free time, Lissa enjoys traveling, consuming books and podcasts, and spending time with her family and fur babies.
