Laura Klein, MPH (she/her/hers) joined the Masonic Cancer Center in 2022 and currently serves as Assistant Director of Research Operations & Education. In this role, she provides administrative and operational leadership for research development, research support, shared resources, and cancer research education programs.

Laura works closely with Cancer Center leadership, faculty, and staff to advance the MCC's research mission and strategic priorities. She oversees research support and development initiatives, leads operational planning and program management efforts, and provides leadership and supervision for key administrative and educational programs that support investigators, trainees, and research teams across the Center. Her work focuses on strengthening research infrastructure, supporting collaborative science, enhancing investigator resources, and advancing cancer research education and training opportunities.

Prior to joining MCC, Laura held research program management positions at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and twins.
