Dr. Deepa Kolaseri Krishnadas serves as the Scientific Director of Translation at the
Masonic Cancer Center. Her role is focused on accelerating the preclinical and clinical
development of first-in-human and first-in-kind experimental therapeutic agents/ non-
therapeutic interventions and facilitating their testing in institutional phase 1, phase 2,
and investigator-held IND clinical trials. Dr. Kolaseri brings over 15 years of cell therapy
expertise in research and clinical settings. She leads ‘Industry Relations’ and collaborates
with partners in functions including legal, product management, R&D, manufacturing,
clinical trial data management, and finance.

She previously served as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville,
Kentucky, and Associate Director of their Experimental Cellular Therapy Laboratory,
where she led preclinical translational research and phase 1/2 clinical trials for pediatric
malignancies. Dr. Kolaseri currently leads Data Solutions Group, co-leads cancer
biospecimen management, and supports translating an idea into high-quality, efficient
clinical trials within a short time frame.
