Goldy vs. Cancer Day Returns to the Minnesota State Fair

The Masonic Cancer Center announces the return of Goldy vs. Cancer day at the Minnesota State Fair on Friday August 26, 2022 in the University of Minnesota Crossroads Building. It will be Goldy vs. Cancer as we #GOpherACure!

The Masonic Cancer Center is a research environment that serves to examine cancer prevention and treatment, as well as share discoveries with the community. The Goldy vs Cancer event at the State Fair will move both initiatives forward, as well as promote the larger University of Minnesota mission of education, research and outreach.

“We are excited to be back at the MN State Fair this year! Our Goldy vs. Cancer event is a great opportunity to learn about how the Masonic Cancer Center is making an impact in cancer. We make learning about cancer fun for all ages” said Kiara Ellis, MSW, the Director of the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, Masonic Cancer Center.

This fun-filled day will include different giveaways, interactive exhibits and games, lab presentations and stage shows with some of our experts.
