Join us for a Fireside Chat in honor of Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month. This conversation will explore thyroid cancer from both clinical and personal perspectives.
Maria Evasovich, MD, a University of Minnesota surgical oncologist specializing in endocrine surgery, will provide an overview of thyroid cancer, including risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and advances in care and research. Thyroid cancer survivor Immaculate Oburu will also share her personal journey through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship, offering insight into the experience of living beyond a cancer diagnosis.
