Community Impact Board

The purpose of the Community Impact Board (CIB) is to incorporate the perspectives of the diverse community in our areas and groups that we serve in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of activities of the Masonic Cancer Center, including its cancer-related research (basic, translational, clinical, and population-based science), clinical care, and community outreach and education.

The intent is that the CIB will have an active membership working towards the overall goals provided by the Masonic Cancer Center leadership:

  • Working to enhance the relationship between the Masonic Cancer Center and its constituents. The CIB is expected to interact with the community to better understand the needs of the community and to suggest ways to maintain Masonic Cancer Center effectiveness.
  • Actively contributing to planning the future of the Masonic Cancer Center. Each CIB member is invited and encouraged to articulate an opportunity, project, or idea for further development.
