Volunteer With Us

Be a part of the change to help reduce the burden of cancer in Minnesota by volunteering with the Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) team. The COE team works with the community to educate a variety of audiences and communities on cancer topics. We discuss things like cancer risk management and cancer prevention through Cancer Fighting Foods, cancers that are prevalent in Minnesota such as lung, colorectal, breast, and prostate cancer, and kid-friendly activities to learn about the basics of health and cancer.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • Supporting COE events like the Survivorship Conference or Goldy Vs. Cancer at the Minnesota State Fair
  • Participate with COE staff in hosting community engagement events
  • Represent the Masonic Cancer Center (MCC) at community health fairs and conferences
  • Engage with students training to become future oncologists and researchers
  • Serve as an MCC Ambassador at community events every day!
