Goldy vs. Cancer at the Minnesota State Fair
The Masonic Cancer Center (MCC) is proud to announce the return of Goldy Vs. Cancer Day at the Minnesota State Fair in 2025 at two locations! Join us all day at the Crossroads Building, or anytime prior to 2 PM at the Driven 2 Discover Building.
Support MCC researchers as they educate and engage fairgoers on the exciting work being done to reduce the burden of cancer for Minnesotans.
Exhibitor & Volunteer Opportunities
Exhibits will be open to State Fairgoers participants from 9 AM - 9 PM on Friday, August 22. Last year, we welcomed close to 1,500 visitors, many of whom had in-depth, inquisitive conversations with on-site exhibitors! This year's exhibits include:
- Cancer across the animal kingdom
- Cancer in human organs
- Creating genetically modified cells to cure cancer
- What's that in your mouth? Oral cancer awareness
- Be a scientist! Try out our favorite research tool
- Inside the lab: innovations in breast cancer research
- Working together to keep our air clean
- Modeling glioblastoma and cell migration
PLUS, visit us at the Crossroads building for lung-focused giveaways, expert insights, and a walk through our giant inflatable lungs!
